Funeral Industry Landing Page For Shrine Crystals. Built with Webflow

When Shrine Crystals approached me about working together on a landing page for their website, they said that they needed a landing page that clearly communicated their offering within the funeral industry. Something that presents their products as elegant, heartfelt, and visually impactful as they are to produce.

Shrine Crystals provide custom-designed, sub-laser engraved memorial headstone crystals, which are often displayed in the home, or outside as a way to honor the memory of a loved one or pet.

These crystals are more than products—they’re deeply personal tributes. The challenge was to create a digital space that did justice to both the emotional weight of their work and the craftsmanship behind it. I built the solution entirely in Webflow, tailored precisely to their goals.

Shrine Crystals’ work is intricate, striking, and highly bespoke. Their memorials aren’t traditional headstones but rather large-format portrait crystals that can be displayed indoors. Because the product is so unique within the funeral industry, it was essential to design a landing page that didn’t just inform—it had to evoke feeling, allow their imagery to speak, and give both suppliers and potential customers a way to learn more or get in touch.

The first step in the project was to clarify the flow of information. Shrine Crystals needed their visitors to understand what the product is, how it’s made, and who it’s for—all at a glance. To accomplish that, I started with a wireframe outlining the core sections: a bold visual header with an impactful hero image, followed by a section explaining the product offering, a gallery to showcase the crystal portraits, and a clear call to action to reach out.

Because their product is visually rich and emotionally resonant, imagery played a big role in the design strategy. High-quality photographs of the engraved crystals were placed front and center. These visuals needed space to breathe, so the layout was kept clean and minimal, letting the artwork do the talking.

After the wireframe was approved, I created a more refined visual mockup to show Shrine Crystals what the final build would feel like. They were particularly happy with how the structure felt personal and respectful, without being overly sombre—a key consideration when working within the funeral industry.

From there, I built the page from scratch using Webflow, without relying on a template.

While templates are great for speed and consistency, this project was a great example of when going custom is the better route.

Shrine Crystals had very specific needs, both visually and structurally. They plan to expand the site in the future to include different types of content, so building a flexible foundation from the start was essential.

They requested a simple button for someone to be able to get in touch which was easy enough to set up in Webflow.

Another goal was to ensure the site felt modern and lightweight while still maintaining the gravity of its subject matter. The clean typography, generous spacing, and carefully selected color palette were all chosen to reinforce this balance. The result is a landing page that feels respectful, professional, and warm—everything a potential client in the funeral industry might need to see to feel confident and comforted.

Working in Webflow made this level of customization both possible and efficient. It allowed me to quickly iterate on design decisions, implement interactions and responsive behavior, and hand over a site that the client could easily update moving forward.

In the end, the landing page for Shrine Crystals became more than just an online brochure. It’s a platform that reflects their artistry and their purpose. It showcases their work, invites meaningful engagement, and sets a strong foundation for future growth. For a company doing something this unique in the funeral industry, it was a privilege to help them tell their story—beautifully, and on their own terms.
